Mare’ Studios & Gallery began over 20 years ago in East Providence, RI. Since then it has expanded to New Bedford where we, Nelson and Donna Mare’, are on hand as owner operators-Nelson in the camera room and Donna your contact person. The type of photography at our studio includes Seniors, Families, Couples, Children, Corporate, Sports and Event Photography. Being a photographer for 30 years allows you to see and grow in many different ways -- our ever growing passion for people and photography has brought us to where we are today.
We feel that education is an ongoing and important aspect of photography, both for personal growth and for the advancement of the Art of Photography. Nelson became PPA Certified in 2001, where less than 3% of Photographers have this credential, and is presently working towards Photographic Craftsman and Master of Photography Degrees. Photographic Awards that Nelson has received during image competitions are, The Kodak Gallery Award, The Fuji Masterpiece Award and Court of Honor.
